Rather than taking a one-size fits all approach, she takes time to understand each individual’s unique experiences, concerns, circumstances, and goals. Her goal is to provide a supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable discussing their mental health and empowered to participate in decisions about their care.

El-Roi Haven Behavioral Health, LLC was founded from a deep commitment to compassionate mental health care and a desire to create a space where individuals can feel safe, respected, understood, and supported.
After more than a decade of working as a nurse and later focusing her career on psychiatric and mental health nursing, Gifty Nkromah, APRN, PMHNP-BC witnessed how often people carry emotional pain, trauma, stress, and mental health challenges silently.
Fear of judgment, misunderstanding, or stigma can make reaching out for help difficult.
El-Roi Haven was created to offer something different, a welcoming environment where individuals can speak openly about their experiences and participate actively in their care.
